The research performed at the Department of Molecular Drug Research is directed towards development of model compounds and new potential drugs. This includes discovery, design and development of novel pharmacological active chemical substances, characterization of novel potential drug targets and basic research within the field of molecular and cellular interactions.
As a Bachelor or Master student at the Department of Molecular Drug Research you will participate in the ongoing research guided by one or more supervisors (associate professor/postodc/PhD-student) working within the actual project area.
The individual research groups at the department collaborate with both Danish as well as foreign research environments. This forms the basis for writing a Master thesis in environments like the industry or abroad.
Listed below, you’ll find a presentation of contact persons and disciplines involved within the different research areas.
Information regarding Bachelor and Master projects at the Department of Molecular Drug Research is given Wednesday 23th November, 12.30–15.30. The day will start in auditorium A4 with a short presentation followed by poster/project presentations at the department, offering you an opportunity to have a look in the labs and to meet the potential supervisors and current Master students.
